Get Connected: Nonprofit Speed Dating is Back, November 7

It’s back! YLNI’s Get on Board committee invites you to attend our next Get Connected: Nonprofit Speed Dating event at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art on Wednesday, November 7 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Registration is required to attend.

You will have the chance to connect with a variety of leaders from animal welfare, arts & cultural, educational, environmental and recreational nonprofits to forge relationships and discover where you can make a difference while fulfilling personal goals. Spend an evening meeting and mingling to find a potential match for your passions.

Event Format:
Start with quick speed-dating rounds with representatives from about 30 local nonprofits who are interested in YOU.

Prior to the event, registered participants will receive information about each nonprofit participating, including their mission and how their board works. From this, you’ll be able to maximize your speed-dating time and focus your discussion.

After speed-dating, we’ll have social time to follow up with the contacts that interest you most – and vice versa.

Board placement is not guaranteed. You deserve time to get to know organizations - their culture, programs, and people before committing to board service - and they deserve the same. Get to know each other through service and leadership opportunities once you discover your mutual interest.

Event Details:
